Hi Gisella,

Not all the books are available and they are online in my courses. They are not separate books that I sell. Part of the advantage about having them online is that I can update them in real-time and do any corrections needed. They are only available through the course since they are in HTML format. Some of my students have requested to have printed editions but that is not currently available, not even pdf versions.

Hi kamran,

Unfortunately haven't gotten around to writing a detailed plan on how to tackle that yet. In general, I recommend that you seek to understand the concepts rather than to be able to memorize every detail because it is hard to memorize and master what you do not understand. In the mastery phase you concentrate on memorizing and mastering the details as a separate process.

Hi ace,

Will work on that soon. I have been asked multiple times, via pm or email about that and have answered them individually before. But I will try to write a series of articles for medical students. There are two phases to preparing for the USMLE. The learning phase, which most accomplish during medical school and the review or mastering phase as I call it to prepare for the examination itself rather than learning the concepts. Most of my discussion concentrates on the latter as is obvious. But lot's of times, those who have failed or scored low have problems in the learning phase and that is what is being corrected within the prep course in a case to case basis.

Very nice and comprehensive, i have one question though: I always see posts about prepping for the steps, how about you post something for some of us students doing basic science now :) maybe "How to study for step 1 alongside basic science" because people always say the best way to prepare to the steps is to have a solid basic science, and as you know that "solid" basic science varies from school to school and some professors like to teach low yield and research materials so i would like to see a comprehensive study method for basic science too, thanks in advance
