Hi Rozie,

First of all there is no six week course. There is only the full course. The alternative is to just attend the lectures. You do not get any study materials or have group chat sessions weekly when you enroll for the lecture only. Study materials are available online and some you have to procure on your own. Go to the main website to know more. There are no more batches. July batch is the last one. Instead you can enroll anytime and you have 9 months access to all online resources even though the suggested prep schedule is 6 months. That gives you flexibility in scheduling your prep. This includes the live lectures, weekly group chat sessions, online study materials and forum and pm support. There are 6 live lectures each lasting 1.5 hours given every Tuesday, 6 pm Pacific Time. The series starts every other month. The next series starts on September 7, 2010 and for the next 6 Tuesdays after that. The next series after that starts on November 2, 2010. If you enroll in the lecture only sessions you can choose to enroll only for the September-October session or the November-December session. If you chose the full course, you can attend all schedules live lectures as many times as you want so long as you are within the 9 month eligibility period.

Hi doc
If I register for the 6 weeks course, will I receive study materials from you,when will the session start for september batch?
what is the difference between the full course and the 6 weeks, will both classes be given online? Please reply as soon as possible. thanks

Hi Rozie,

Sorry for the late reply. Just flew 12 hours through the Pacific yesterday and still jetlagged. Anyway, Lectures are conducted live so you need to attend them as scheduled. There is usually 15 minutes chat after the lecture for you to ask questions. You can just attend the lectures if you want or go for the full course.

You just need to apply at http://main.askdoc-usmle.com. Apply for July class although the next series of lecture starts on September, every Tuesday, 6 pm Pacific Time. If you want to hear the sample lecture, go to my facebook page. You can click on the facebook widget on the upper right side of the blog. Access the video there. The video in Youtube was removed cuz the video is 12 minutes long and Youtube will only accept videos 10 minutes long. So I need to split the video into 2 before reposting it.

I applied for the full course yesterday. I have trouble accessing the course site.Please E-mail me as to how I fully participate in the class.Is there a password I have to use. I did the patho demo chapter 1 quiz but I need to do the rest of the chapters of patho and I have trouble accessing them.

I would like to enroll in the course instead of the live lecture only but I am still working on my usmle application.I want to get a slot in your course in September batch.Is it alright to enroll the course even I am still in the process of my usmle application.Please advise.Thanks again:)
