I would like to congratulate Logik15 for passing the USMLE Step 1 recently with a score of 92/221. He is the first member of the February batch to report back with his scores. I wish him well in his future endeavours.

I am still awaiting the results of two other members of the February batch who have taken the exam and will post the results once they are out.

    Hi docjay,

If you are fresh grad, with scores in 90’s you should not need to have clinical research job to get interviews. Clinical research jobs, externships are good to have and can help if you have some glaring weakness in your resume. Old IMG, poor scores, etc. but people without clinical research background and without externships have gotten residency positions. So they are not a must.

    Hi docjay,

Glad to hear you did well in both steps. You should have enrolled in my Step 2 CS course.:). Anyway, USCE is important for some programs but not for others. You need to research well which programs require USCE and which do not. Thousands of IMG each year match and prematch without USCE. Good luck.
